🎬 Setting Up Jellyfin on Your DevicesDevices`

Welcome to your hep-server Cinema. Follow the steps below to get your movie and TV library running on any screen.

Server URL: https://stream.hep-server.ddns.net

Status: 🟢 System Online

To access the hep-server media library, you can use the Jellyfin app on almost any device. Follow the steps below to get connected.

1. Setup on your Mobile Phone (iOS/Android)

  1. Download the App: Search for "Jellyfin" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Add Server: Open the app and tap "Add Server".

  3. Enter Server Address: * Type: https://stream.hep-server.ddns.net

    • Tap Connect.

  4. Log In: Enter the Username and Password provided in your access email.

  5. Trust the Device: You are now ready to stream!


2. Setup on your Smart TV (Roku, Apple TV, Fire Stick, Android TV)

  1. Install the App: Search the App Store on your TV for "Jellyfin" and install it.

  2. Select Server: When you open the app, it will ask for a server. You can manually type https://stream.hep-server.ddns.net using the on-screen keyboard.

  3. Choose Login Method: You will see two options:

    • Manual Login: Type your username and password (this can be slow on a remote).

    • Quick Connect: (Recommended) See the section below for the fastest way to log in.


âš¡ Using "Quick Connect" (Fastest Login)

Quick Connect allows you to log into your TV by using a device where you are already logged in (like your phone or computer). This saves you from typing a long password with a TV remote.

  1. On your TV, select the Quick Connect option. It will display a 6-digit code.

  2. On your Phone or Computer (where you are already logged into Jellyfin):

    • Go to User Settings (the person icon in the top right).

    • Select Quick Connect.

    • Enter the 6-digit code shown on your TV.

  3. Authorize: Tap Authorize. Your TV will automatically log in within a few seconds.


Technical Tip: For the best experience, ensure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. If you are outside the house, the server address remains the same.
